Operations

The Company’s fabrication shop allows PPP to pre-fabricate piping in a controlled environment. The fabrication shop has the capability of handling pipe up to 60 feet in length and 108 inches in diameter. PPP utilizes the most advanced welding techniques and state-of-the-art equipment to ensure high quality welds. Depending on the volume of business, the fabrication shop is staffed by up to thirty 30 craftsmen.

Facilities

PPP operates from a 50,000 square foot facility located in Plymouth, Michigan. This facility consists of two light industrial buildings and is situated on 2.4 acres. These buildings, built in 1988 and 1991, contain a combined 50,000 sq. ft. of fabrication/ warehouse space and an additional 8,000 sq. ft. of office space. These facilities contain the fabrication operations, warehousing, engineering and administrative offices.

Equipment

PPP has the advanced equipment necessary to satisfy a wide range of piping applications. From fully equipped production bays and precision welding units, to the latest design and production control processes, PPP remains on the cutting edge of the piping industry. In addition, the Company utilizes the most advanced welding techniques, including GTAW orbital welding equipment. This state-of-the-art system uses the latest micro-controller and electronic technology to assist PPP’s skilled craftsmen in producing high quality welds. PPP owns a variety of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, cranes, bending machines, and a variety of high quality welding equipment.

Shop Capabilities

Power Process Piping’s fabrication facility can support up to thirty (30) craftsmen per shift, three (3) shifts per day.
